Elizabeth Benney is a Developmental Therapist and Evaluator for the Illinois Early Intervention Program as well as an IAIM-certified Infant Massage Instructor. She was the founder of the Illinois Developmental Therapy Association and served as Chair of Professional Development for several years. Her practice specializations include certification in the Interactive Metronome program, Therapeutic Listening program (“Core/Listening with the Whole Body”), and Infant Massage Instruction. She has had extensive experience addressing atypical sensory integration and her practice specifically addresses sensorimotor stability and organization. She utilizes various modalities including DIR® model of Floor-time as well as ABA protocols to tailor her sessions to each individual child as appropriate.
Elizabeth earned her graduate degree from University of Chicago and collaborated with graduate schools to provide child development graduates and interns with supervised clinical experience and training. She opened the Learning through Play Center several years ago as a forum in which she and her staff could design a unique style of developmental playgroup, which utilizes structure in conjunction with various modes (art, music, movement) tailored specifically to help children organize, adapt, socialize, communicate, and learn effectively in group settings.
Megan is the Clinic Director and keeps our center running with efficiency, clarity, and heart. She oversees billing, manages new client intakes, and provides leadership and support to our entire team. With years of experience in ABA and a strong background in both clinical and administrative roles, Megan ensures that families receive seamless, informed guidance—whether navigating commercial or state insurance policies, starting services, or coordinating care.
Before joining the administrative side of the field, Megan spent several years providing direct ABA therapy. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Baker College in Jackson, Michigan, and previously served as a Lead Therapist, where she was recognized for her exceptional coaching, mentorship, and training of ABA staff. She is deeply knowledgeable in data collection, program adjustments, and supporting meaningful progress for children and families.
Megan’s most recent role was Operations Supervisor Assistant at an Autism Center, where she helped develop new staff roles and empowered team members to expand their skills and responsibilities.
She is currently attending Ball State University to earn her Master’s in Applied Behavior Analysis and is working toward becoming a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Richiah Donahue, MA, BCBA, LBA is a dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst specializing in pediatric applied behavior analysis. With extensive experience supporting children with autism and developmental disabilities across clinical, school, and community settings, Richiah is committed to providing compassionate, individualized care that helps each child grow, learn, and thrive.
Over the course of her career, she has conducted comprehensive assessments, developed evidence-based treatment and behavior intervention plans, and supervised therapists to ensure high-quality, consistent service delivery. Richiah brings a strong background in early intervention, caregiver collaboration, and school partnership, and she is passionate about helping families feel supported and empowered throughout the therapeutic process.
Richiah holds a Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from Southeast Missouri State University and is licensed to practice in Illinois. She is committed to creating meaningful progress for the children and families she serves and strives to make therapy both effective and joyful.

Jennifer is a dedicated Office Manager and Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) with over four years of experience in administrative roles and more than a decade of experience working with children. She holds an Associate’s degree in the Arts and brings a unique blend of organizational expertise and a deep passion for child development to her role.
Throughout her career, Jennifer has worked in various capacities supporting children’s growth and learning, including as a toddler and preschool teacher, nanny, and volunteer cheerleading coach. Her experience as an RBT has further enhanced her ability to support children with diverse needs and foster their development in meaningful ways.
As a proud mother of two wonderful daughters, Jennifer’s personal and professional experiences have enriched her understanding of children’s needs and development. She is known for her creativity, energy, and exceptional multitasking skills, ensuring a supportive and well-organized environment for both children and her team.
Jennifer is deeply passionate about helping children thrive, supporting their growth, and making a positive impact on the lives of children and their families.

Ariella Tenniswood is our Office Manager and a valued member of both our administrative and clinical teams. She supports families and staff through her work in billing, scheduling, and day-to-day office operations, ensuring that everything runs smoothly and efficiently.
In addition to her administrative role, Ariella provides direct ABA therapy as a Behavioral Technician. Her strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to adapt quickly make her an asset in both client sessions and behind the scenes. She is dedicated to creating a welcoming, organized environment and offering reliable support to the children and families we serve.
Ariella holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communications from Arizona State University and brings a thoughtful, client-centered approach to every part of her work.

Devynn is a dynamic and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) who thrives on helping children discover their voices and build confidence in their communication abilities. She brings a strong academic foundation to her work, holding a Bachelor’s degree in Cognitive Science from Northwestern University and a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Grand Valley State University.
Her journey into speech therapy began with hands-on roles as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and Teaching Assistant at The Goddard School, where she developed her skills and passion for working with children. These experiences inspired her commitment to creating therapy sessions that are not only effective but also enjoyable and tailored to each child’s unique strengths.
Devynn’s ability to connect deeply with families is further enhanced by her fluency in Spanish, which allows her to support a diverse range of clients. Known for her creativity and vibrant approach to therapy, she is dedicated to fostering a supportive and engaging environment where children can achieve meaningful progress and thrive.


Illiana is experienced in assessing, diagnosing, and treating children ages 18 months to 18 years in linguistically diverse, fast-paced environments. Well-acquainted with sensory integration therapy and augmentative and alternative communication devices and programs. Skilled in assessment and treatment of bilingual children with concomitant language and speech disorders. Licensed for practice in Illinois, Michigan, Florida, and Texas with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association. Certified as a Teacher of English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) by TEFL.org (180 hour program with classroom component). Achieved advanced proficiency in Russian and intermediate proficiency in French, with an undergraduate background in Linguistics.

Liya Kahsay, M.S., CCC-SLP, is a compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist who specializes in supporting children with speech, language, social communication, and fluency needs. She has experience across school and clinical settings, working with children from early intervention through high school, and is skilled in creating individualized, goal-focused treatment plans that support meaningful growth.
Liya has a strong background in collaboration, caregiver education, AAC, and working with children with a wide range of communication profiles. She is committed to making therapy engaging, supportive, and empowering for every child and family she serves.
She earned her Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology from Purdue University and is an ASHA-certified SLP.



Alicia has a Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, a Master’s degree in Psychology, and is certified as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). Her expertise reflects a strong foundation in both human services and psychology, with a focus on supporting individuals with behavioral needs. She is a dedicated and compassionate RBT with experience delivering early intervention therapy in a center-based, supportive environment. She works closely with children by implementing individualized programs and behavior intervention plans designed by her BCBA Supervisor. She continually expands her knowledge through ongoing training, mentorship, and staff development meetings, striving to provide the highest level of care and support for her clients.

Jillian is an experienced Behavior Technician who earned her Bachelor in Psychology with a concentration in Human Development and graduated with honors (Magna cum laude) from DePaul University. She’s had over 5 years providing direct services in collaboration with occupational therapists to plan, implement, and administer educational, vocational, and recreational programs that restore or enhance performance in individuals with functional impairments. She has had experience in parent coaching, classroom planning/organization, and resolution of students’ behavior and/or academic problems. Prior to that, she worked with the Chicago Cities Project as a mentor–her duties included crisis intervention, monitoring student progress, resolving behavioral, academic, and other problems, and working with parents and teachers to determine priorities for students and their resource needs.

Zoila Cortez- RBT


Ranosha brings extensive experience in child and family services through her roles as an Intact Case Manager, Youth Counselor, and most recently as a School Social Work Intern at Rowe Clark Math and Science Academy. She has facilitated group and individual sessions, developed IEP goals, conducted safety assessments, and supported children and families in crisis. Ranosha is also pursuing her Master of Social Work at Aurora University and is a licensed Child Welfare Employee with additional certifications in CPR and, effective August 2025, as a Licensed Social Worker.

ZaQuela is a licensed social worker with extensive experience in education, student services, and child welfare. She is completing her Post-MSW Professional Educator License (PEL) at Aurora University while serving as a School Social Work Intern at Ridgewood Community High School. Zaquela has a strong background in case management, IEP/504 processes, and evidence-based interventions. She is dedicated to fostering supportive, inclusive learning environments that promote students’ academic, social, and emotional success.
