Family Counseling

Family Counseling:

Family counseling is a supportive therapeutic approach designed to strengthen family dynamics and improve communication among family members. Our services focus on fostering healthy relationships and addressing challenges that families may face.

How Does Family Counseling Work?

Our team of experienced social workers provides comprehensive support tailored to each family’s unique needs. We offer:

  • Assessment and Support: Initial evaluations to understand the family’s dynamics and specific challenges.
  • Case Management: Coordinated support to help families navigate services and resources.
  • Resource Provision: Access to community resources and referrals that can enhance family well-being.

Who are we?

Counseling and family therapy is provided by a trained and licensed counselor. Our counselors are clinically trained — licensed clinical social workers (LCSW) or licensed clinical professional counselors (LCPC) or board-certified behavior analysts (BCBA)

  • Therapists and counselors can help families with the unique challenges facing parents who are raising a special needs child.
  • Social workers can help your family find local resources or assist you in placing your child in an appropriate school.
  • Counselors and Behavior Therapists can assist parents in how to address challenging or disruptive behaviors in the home or school.
