Kendra is a Certified Speech Language Pathologist who received her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Rush University in May 2017. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the College of Saint Benedict in 2014. Kendra currently holds licensure through the State of Illinois and is a Credentialed Early Intervention provider. During graduate school clinical rotations, Kendra worked in a variety of settings with a wide array of populations including two pediatric private clinics, a school, an inpatient rehabilitation hospital, an inpatient acute hospital, an outpatient swallow study clinic, and a literacy outreach program. Kendra has gained experience working with children in the areas of articulation and phonological delays, expressive and receptive language delays, global developmental delays, stuttering, speech and language within Autism Spectrum disorder and Down’s Syndrome, feeding difficulties and use of Augmentative/Alternative Communication Systems. She has experience administering screenings, standardized and non-standardized assessments for diagnosis, and developing individualized treatment plans and goals. Kendra enjoys using play-based therapy methods to develop relationships with children and their families to help them reach their fullest potential.
